Maybe you have heard it called a click language of Botswana or Nambia Africa!?" he beams then catches just how big of a nerd he's being, scratching his head and blushing, knowing that's a rather odd choice for him to have used his chiminage on "Endangered languages are cool." he says in quite defense.

"Oh! I have yes. That is so cool!"

"You usually learn a lesson when learning a language. I am very glad I learned this one through a chiminage to a bird spirit. Normally you learn your lesson as you learn the language. This one *poof* was given to me, then I had the pleasure of learning it in reverse. As I spoke it, I unraveled it's mysteries and sentence structures and ending and intricacies! I got to learn it reverse engineered! Isn't that a cool way to learn?" he leans forward, nodding as she seems to share at least a bit of his enthusiasm.

She loved learning and while she did not speak any languages herself, the process sounded fascinating "That... is awesome. And a very unusual way to learn. I wonder if it is a bit like the fast forward version of a kid learnign a language by speaking to relatives and hten getting formal training and suddenly understanding why and how things work..."

"Have you seen the movie the Matrix?? When he plugs himself in and gets to know kung fu? It was like that for me, only I learned !Xóõ and Hebrew. Matrix does not show that once you cheat to get the knowledge you have to learn it anyways, you just learn it in reverse order. Which is still very helpful and I thank the raven for it!

But yes, I would gladly teach you a language. The only ones I know indigenous to America are Navajo and Zuni. Are you Navajo? he asks with child like curiosity

"I am not... i am part Wampanoag though..."

"Oh, cool. I have heard so much about the Native Americans, are those like Algonquins? More Northern?" he asks with excited curiosity

"Massachusetts, and that area. so east coast. I wish i knew more but the folks who know the old ways are mostly gone. The language is gone mostly as well"

"Oh where is Zuni spoken?"

"I am betting someone out there thinks it was aliens. Or it was just parallel evolution maybe?"

"me either. I've heard stories but never been there...."

"Ahh nice, maybe someday it will be safe again adn i will get to go. Well, your checkup is all done, you are good to go on that end"

"I have another one in an hour and someone can walk in but you can stick around until then? If you want that is"

He nods, then looks around "Are you scared? Of the war?" 
He looks down and away before returning his eyes to her.

"A little bit" it was foolish not to be after all "But, i have a job to do you know? we all do"

"Yeah, I bet it helps to keep busy. I'm the same, I was running around delivering messages and... it still seems like stories. I still can't believe it, like it's something that happened to someone else." he stops gingerly

"I... kind of angered someone because it was personal to them but I was ... casual. I wish I had not been so careless."

"Oh, that sucks, i am sorry. Are they ok?"

The persona IN the story are very likely not alright given their task. They have a good chance of dying from such a task." he says trying to summon great reverence for their sacrifice.
