Circle circle, dot dot (Erin)

He just flew in, he had to pull a few strings to get it expedited.  He's usually very good at getting all his immune boosters and following normal protocol.

This time, they asked him to make sure he saw the doctor as many were coming in and he didn't want to spread... bird flu or whatever.  He's a corax kin, he could make that joke.

He waits to see the doctor. He's the only Korean guy he's seen for awhile in this place near Arizona, he stands out for sure.

Erin had been splitting her time between the clinic and the sept proper but hse had hours here and was seeing people.

Her head peeked out the door and she waived him in. "Hello there, come on in"

"Hello! I'm here to see Dr. Erin. Jo Si-won,
Just got in here and need a general check up."   looks around her office as he enters

"or did you know that? Im not sure how official the visit is. ." he speaks quickly and his eyes dart around the room but try to give her enough attention.

"I am Erin. Welcome. I have heard that yourself and there are some others jsut arrived internationally." she smiled "have a seat let me get the basic history of things and go from there hmm? Tell me your age, date of your last physical, any known health conditions or concerns"

"Yes, we just came in. I was ... just about everywhere I could be. Mostly southeast Asia". his mind has been racing so fast, it's been hard for him to really grasp just how dangerous this whole situation is."Age twenty three, last physical was about ten months ago. I have an abnormal heart rate."

She wrote the info down "do you happen to know how up to date your immunizations are? Can you describe the abnormality? Is there anything else i should know?"

"My heart beats fast and occasionally flutters. Sounds like a bad pick up line.

Previous doctors have said it's bengin and possibly because of occasional drug use. Is... this a safe place to talk about everything?". he doesn't seem to mean patient client privileges, more like veil secrecy.

He keeps looking around the room to figure out what every tool would be used for.

"Name an immunization booster or vaccine  and I've probably had it. I travel a lot.

Hep a and b, typhoid, enecephalites,  tetnus, measles, diphtheria  DTP... whatever that is..." he rattles off a few, some of which he's clearly just parroting the names and not sure what they do.

"It is... mostly safe. Like, this is not a place to suddenly hulk out but it is fine to speak quietly." she said with a small nod.

"OK i am going to write that you have all the immunizations. Have you been anywhere with any infectious diseases or epidemics?"

"Polio, I kept hearing warnings for Polio. China had the avian influenza. " he chuckles at the avian part.

"I mostly stick to Japan, Korea and here.
And not the poorer parts of the country."

"You have had the polio vaccine, yes? Wash hands all the time? Polio we do not need." she took a few more notes and then put her pen down "Let me do a basic once over hmm? As for bird flu..." she sighed "dont need that either..."

"Yes I have had those vaccines, July 2016. Maybe me wobbly for two days." he's able to recall the date precisely

"so wobbly. And a cute nurse was trying to flirt with me but I was just too out of it."

She proceeded to do a very standard exam "Oh no! Not being up to cute nurse flirting sounds not at all fun!"

"Are you a storyteller then?"

"Yes, very much so. My people are known for our stories. I am also a musician, so I can tell stories through song." he offers her a broad smile

"I was told my people were welcome here,
It is all approved."

"I am SO not in charge of that" she laughed perhaps at some inner joke "Unless you are contagious, i get no say but i am sure they are. Every refugee is welcome here now. though..." she paused thoughtfully "who are your people?" she wasn't sure if he meant Koreans or something else

He shrugs then purses his lips in thought, his cheeks scrunching up. "The type that finds it very funny to be talking about bird flu." he laughs out loud.

"Ooooh.... i see" she grins widely at him "That is awesome"

"Thanks! I think so, I love my family." he smiles broadly to her and tilts his head back so his bangs stop creeping into his vision.

He leans in to ask..

"So... do you have any doctor powers?"

"Ha. I have some skill with herbs and teas and such. And i have some skill with a more.... esoteric sort of healing. And i am a doctor, that makes me have all SORTS of powers" she grinned "do you have any storyteller powers?"

His eyes light up "Esoteric healing??? I want to see your esoteric healing. What injuries do I need to get so you'll do some esoteric healing on me?"
he shows his kidding with a wide grin and a chuckle

"I have a great memory, I can parrot other sounds perfectly and I speak eleven languages."

"Holy cow eleven?" his joking was put aside at the mere thought "Now i feel bad for only knowing the one..."

"I could teach you if you like?" he smiles "I like to learn and teach. I cheated to learn three of the languages though."

"How did you cheat?" she asked tilting her head to the side

"I paid a spirit with the help of my cousin and... poof! I knew Hebrew and !Xoo." he makes an exaggerated gesture on 'poof ' speeding his hands out wiggling his fingers like a magician revealing his trick.
