Team Mallory (open)

Curious to see who would apply, she had a cup of tea in one hand, sitting on a rock flipping through her phone. There wasn't much internet service, so she was likely looking at a screen shot or something cached.

Octavia had given up hope of ever getting cellular service out here. It was just not going to happen with her provider. She only used her phone for taking photographs or as a compass at best - sometimes a flashlight - so she kept it tucked in her back pocket. She came and approached as well, curious as to who might be joining her for Team Mallory.

She nodded and looked Mallory over. "Octavia. Well, enough. I think. Thanks for asking." She was patient and had no problem waiting. That's....a lie. But she could try and fake it, at least.

She nodded. "Yes, that's correct. I tend to know a little bit about everything, for the most part." She paused and shook her head. "No reason to say everything three or four times. I can wait. Jayson mentioned the armed citizenry. That's the most important issue facing us currently? From that side of things, anyway."

Sasha comes in waving to the two other women. "Hi, I am not sure how you proposed to investigate this, but I figured I should at least hear more about the plan."

"It is the most actionable and the most direct threat as they are actively looking into our roads and likely have seen some of our guests arrive."

She regards the well dressed woman approaching

"Ms. Viale, thank you again for the contribution towards the mobile homes. Some of our guests really are not fitting in to the 'rough' lifestyle of Badger's nature homes. We don't want to push those individuals out."

Once she had heard about the meeting she made sure to work her schedule so she could make it. She was still getting situated at the police station but managed to make it work. Showing up she glanced around at the faces she reognized

Harmony enters, doll like and almost gorgeous.

"I am Harmony, I would like to volunteer. My talents are mostly computer based." she says briefly "I am a glasswalker, I have more tools than a normal hacker."

she looks around.

"Greetings, let me know if I am useful."

"Well now the party is all here. Alright everybody, we need a threat evaluation on an armed citizen group. If they are just what they say the are: a concerned militia that has concerns with immigration... then we have no problem. That's their right.

We have a suspicion base on some of their activities that someone is trying to use them to recruit for something more sinister. We need to know what that is. They've started snooping around into veiled matters. Divination shows we should look at them. Besides, if I were a wyrm creature, this is the perfect group to recruit from.

We need to monitor them and find out which members are just average Joes and which ones go bump in the night. Many of their officers are listed on their website, assuming that's their real names. They have many daytime meetings. That's important if they were vampires.

First step is surveillance. What can you do to spy on their conversations, infiltrate them or otherwise determine their motives?"

She looks around to each of them.

"Want me to run background checks? I know people. I was in the entertainment and hotel biz which lets me network all over the place.


What else? I have the gifts for being good persuading and talking out of situations. Also stealth, I could just hide and listen in on one of their events. I can usually steal an object or wallet if that helps."


She shrugs looking if anyone else has ideas

"I have access to police resources that we can utilize. In addition I've done brief undercover operations before. Its more dangerous but it's a possibility."

She nods to the group, first addressing Rebecca

"Undercover was actually the way I was leaning, but I was going to see our tools available and hear your ideas. They are actively recruiting and an undercover individual could steer the conversations to what we are looking for. Surveillance will not be able to entice a response, we would have to just hope they say what we want. I believe one of ours could make our way into their inner circles to get more information."

"Is there anyone who would volunteer for that dangerous mission?"

Then turning to Harmony, suppressing the judgmental gaze

"See what you can get from the website." she hands her the address.

"That goes for your background checks too."
She looks back on the group

"While we do research... who has a better plan than an undercover operation? If there is none, we go with it and need a volunteer."

She just held up her hand. "I can do the undercover if Sasha can handle my disguises and the like. I can handle firearms and myself if I need to fight."

Jayson enters and blinks at the busty girl with looks so good they must be cgi , after staring too long one realizes he's the only dude, surrounded by women many of whom are uncomfortably attractive

Nervously

"Uh... yeah. So here's some data from combing ovef the Sentinels website. On one of the pages Dale mentions his work schedule serving coffee.  There's only two coffee places anywhere near enough to be that place. He's gotta work at one of them. Then Pam mentions she's a waiter but doesn't say where. That could be two dozen places."

He fumbles to look through his notes 
"Um... any questions?"

It seems he showed up late to this meeting and was trying to remember what else he had on them.

"I would feel most comfortable with someone going undercover who has done so before." Rebecca chimes in "that sort of assignment can get tricky"

"I have. You have. Team up?" Seems reasonable enough. Especially if one gets ousted then they still have someone on the inside. Or, you know. Backup.

"Perfect. I trust the research will narrow down which names to target and how to gain their trust." she looks to each of the women assembled.

"Depending on the location, we may need to have Harmony standing by as a get away driver."

"So my role is to do background checks using my contacts and to make disguises for those two? ..sure, I can do that."
