Tune up (Erin)

She frowned a bit at that but didnt press. "That's... complicated i am sure..."

Harmony laughs, looking down "Very." she agrees quietly

"Moving is hard. Moving with all of this has been even more difficult." she freezed for a moment before saying

"I know you aren't a therapist, that's not why I came."

"I am not. But i am not sure we quite have one handy though there is someone who has some experience. her name is Ezra. But i am here, and i am certainly willing to be a friend if nothing else"

"If you have time... thank you. I'm sure once I get settled things will get better." she smiles sadly

"How is the settling in going? Are you staying near the lodge or more towards the town?" she waived her hand in the air "There are places near here and it is fairly safe"

"I live above the Clinic here" she pointed at hte ceiling "There is an apartment there."

Harmony smiles "That is convenient . Again, thank you for being so understanding about all of this.  I was worried about perception of my status."

"Why? what did you think folks would think?"

"It is.... certainly not what folks here are used to. But this is not the time to be excluding anyone, and certainly not anyone seeking aid."

she tapped her fingers on the table "Many of us here are... different and yet accepted"

"Different in what way? I have noticed a higher percentage of kin with gifts from the spirits. That is normally rare." she scans Erin up and down

"But it sounds like you mean something else."

"Certainly many are quite special. We have gifts we have magics. Some have both. Some have gnosis. Some are not kin to garou at all"

"A moot run mostly by kinfolk is not something I have ever heard of. But is necessary to keep them alive."

She rolls her eyes back as she reviews what she knows

"I suppose there was a corax kinfolk, but I don't think I have met any others that were not garou kinfolk. Or perhaps I just did not know.

Well, my opinion is not going to affect policy, but since the other shifters are willing to join us in the war, it seems only fair for us to protect their kin."

"Mmhm" her noise was. Neutral but she smiled "I think all the shifters went. Sai'won said where he was from they all went too"

"It's... hard. This is not the role most of us are used to, the front lines. But I guess it is a war there are no true bystanders anymore." She took a breath "we will do what we can and we will get through to the other side because... well what else is there?"

"I am reminded of World War One and Two, when so many of the men that went to war that women had to step up to do mens' jobs out of sheer necessity. It is not a perfect analogy because kinfolk are significantly less capable in combat than garou. Miles apart really. Men's advantage on the other hand are mostly manufactured. It will be interesting to see if this is a temporary stepping up, or if: like World War Two it will have a more lasting effect on the roles. I supposed the number of garou that survive will play a large part."

As soon as the words leave her lips, she halts whatever else she had to say. Instead she twitches her mouth, considering if that last part was too truthful for someone she just met. She looks over Erin again to gauge her reaction, not saying anything more until she establishes that it's not making the doctor uncomfortable to speculate on such a morbid topic.

Erin for her part nodded along with the analogy including the last part. "Even before, there are some tribes that include kin in packs, yours does a bit yes? I think it may be very tribe dependant really, but you are i think right in the analogy...." she twisted her mouth some at hte distaste of the tought of many garou perishing but she made no other notion of being uneasy with it. As a doctor death was never too far from her thouhts.

"That's... good" she didnt sound too sure about teh dismissive part anyway

She chuckles "If they are too uninterested in you, you can just marry into another tribe. A silver lining to being dismissed is you are open for other opportunities."

"That is a good point. Some do not get those options" she nodded "though who knows what will happen with that now as well. With so many kin working together there might be inter-tribal relationships all over hte place"

"Is that new with the lack of appetite or is that how you always have been?"
