She shakes her head no "I was doing it to make a ragabash point, but it ended up just being treated as treason. I guess I gained information that LA wasn't the place for me though." she chuckles at that.

"Umbral doomsday meteorite,.. I have no idea how to help that. That's for the Garou to solve, all I can do is be their family and keep the lights on the caern for their return."

"I would have been, yes. But might makes right it seems and they won out."

"Might be good long term, as it showed their true colors ."

"We had a supervising surgeon during rotations who would ask folks which rotation they preferred. There were guys who would say 'anything but "lady troubles"' and he would just smile and nod and send them to the worst obstetric emergencies first. They came out of those sheet white and never trivialized that stuff again...."

Sasha laughs "Well, one reason I wanted to make sure to know you is the other doctor he.." she shakes her head "... I am going to keep my distance from that guy. I was raising money to buy mobile homes for the sept and he somehow turned it into some kind of racist pro white rant. I'm just going to keep away, good to know who to avoid."

"Alan? He is... well i jsut met him. He seems the sort ot hit on all the nurses. But he is the one surgeon we have" she said sadly "but yes. He is i think.. .best avoided" she bit her lip "I am sorry he turned an act of altruism all around"

Sasha cringes "That's a bad sign. He was creepy to me as well, hopefully I don't need a surgeon and can just get by with magic. I know it can't solve everything as sometimes you need actual medicine, but .. I just have to hope now." she gives a sad sigh

"Come to think of it, the rejection could be the reason he flew off the handle so much. I don't really know, but I'll try to avoid."

"Sometimes surgery is needed. And i am sure he will be reasonably professional. Just kinda a creep" she nodded sadly "sorry to bring it up. did he hit on you and you reject him?"

"Yeah, kind of. We were at the roulette table, I asked something about the odds and he basically said 'either shut up or let's go fuck'. So it likely wasn't a genuine attempt to pick me up.. I think."  she holds her hands up as if giving up on trying to unpack it "The whole thing was very bizarre.

He was mad that I was getting people to bet recklessly. I guess."

"No thanks." she says on screwing, turning up her nose "Yes, at a casino. The casino that is the major source of revenue for this sept. Mind games to throw people." she pauses, smiling

"It worked like a charm though, the casino generated a lot of money that week."

"We do, or we need those who have the resources to invest in this Sept. As I've been told, there are some wealthy individuals here,  unfortunately most are from L.A. and pissed off at me.

Are you good with people? Or getting donations? Artie is officially in charge of this project,  but I'm doing most of the work. If my name was on the project there's no way they would invest in it."

"I am... ok with people in my own setting but outside it... i get sort of self conscious" she said honestly "I wonder if maybe we need some sort of charity thing? A way for folks to donate maybe even anonymously?"
